NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Rounds 1 & 2 - Session 1

NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Rounds 1 & 2 - Session 1 at Numerica Veterans Arena

See a bracket matchup become a game you can follow possession by possession. Session 1 of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament’s Spokane dates takes place at Numerica Veterans Arena on March 18, 2027. It is a first-round outing for fans who want to watch the contest develop rather than wait for a final score.

The tournament’s single-elimination format gives the result its consequence. A winner moves to the second round; a defeated team’s tournament is over. That shared objective gives you something to follow from the first possession without needing a guaranteed upset or a famous school on the court.

Use the session to look beyond the ball. Watch how players create a passing option, where a defense gives help and how a team tries to answer what its opponent is doing. You can compare those observations with the person beside you, or simply enjoy working out which approach you prefer.

Session 1 is a particular part of Spokane’s March 18 and 20 tournament schedule, not the all-sessions package. Review the selected offer for its included admission before choosing tickets. Explore Session 1 tickets and give yourself a first-round basketball outing at the arena.
