About Numerica Veterans Arena

Numerica Veterans Arena is Spokane’s large indoor venue for Spokane Chiefs hockey, basketball, concerts and touring entertainment. It stands at 720 W. Mallon Avenue, north of downtown. The arena changes its floor and seating arrangement to suit each event, so a hockey game and a concert can offer very different views from the same general part of the building. Use your event’s chart, entrance instructions and pre-arrival email together when planning a first visit.

Plan Your Visit to Numerica Veterans Arena

Which seating chart should I use?

The arena publishes separate configurations for hockey, basketball, end-stage concerts and smaller productions. Its promoter information lists 9,916 for hockey and 11,736 for basketball, with different totals for concert layouts. Those are configuration figures, not a promise of seats offered for every booking.

For a concert, note the stage position and whether floor admission is seated or standing. For sports, identify your section in relation to the playing surface. An event-specific chart is more useful than choosing solely by the arena’s largest advertised capacity.

Where can I park or meet a ride?

Paid arena lots are organized by letter. Rates depend on the event and vehicle, and parking does not include in-and-out privileges. Follow the current map and the payment instructions for the lot you enter.

Approved pickup and drop-off points are Lot F on Mallon Avenue, across from the Flour Mill, and Howard Street just south of Boone Avenue. Lot F is the designated accessible drop-off area. Do not arrange pickup in the main parking aisles directly in front of the venue.

What accessible facilities are available?

Accessible and companion seating is offered in different pricing areas, but the positions available depend on the stage setup. Discuss your needs when selecting tickets. Permit parking is provided in designated spaces, including areas near the northeast entrance and south of the arena.

Northeast and southeast entrances have push-button doors. The southeast-lobby elevator connects concourse and event levels. Public restrooms are accessible, and five family restrooms can accommodate a companion. Assistive listening devices are available through Guest Services.

What are the security and bag rules?

Guests pass through weapon screening, and re-entry is prohibited. The arena permits one clear bag up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches or a small opaque clutch up to 6.5 by 4.5 inches. Medical items and qualifying diaper bags have stated exceptions.

Download the actual admission ticket before reaching the scanner. Have the QR code ready and check your event’s camera restrictions. Smoking and vaping are prohibited.

What food and visitor services are inside?

Two food courts and additional concession stands serve the concourse. Options include traditional arena snacks as well as meals; the exact stands open can depend on the event. Family restrooms and baby-changing stations are also on the concourse.

Guest Services is near the main entrance and can help with facility questions, listening devices and wheelchair assistance. Ask an usher for directions rather than leaving the building to seek help, because admission does not allow re-entry.

How should I prepare for the visit?

Parking, concessions and merchandise are cashless. Major cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted. Allow time for parking, walking to the entrance and security screening before the listed start.

If traveling by transit, use Spokane Transit’s current trip planner for your arrival and return. A performance’s finishing time can vary, so make a backup plan if your trip depends on a final evening departure.
