Tim Meadows

Tim Meadows at Spokane Comedy Club

Tim Meadows spent nine years on Saturday Night Live, making him one of the show's longest-tenured cast members. That tenure means you've likely seen his work, even if you never thought about the performer behind it. On Saturday, December 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM, he brings decades of character work and improv training to Spokane Comedy Club. If you appreciate comedians who built their careers on sketch and live performance, this is a chance to see that skill applied to stand-up.

Meadows started at The Second City alongside Chris Farley, then moved through SNL creating personalities like Leon Phelps, the perpetually confident host of The Ladies' Man. He spoofed everyone from Michael Jackson to Tiger Woods. That range of voices and ability to inhabit a character translates into stand-up that draws on observation, timing and the kind of spontaneity you get from years of improv. You're watching someone who knows how to read a room and adjust.

Make it a Saturday plan with someone who remembers SNL from the '90s, or who just wants a night of comedy from a performer who's been refining his craft since the Soup Kitchen Saloon days. Shared cultural references can make the jokes land harder, and having someone beside you to laugh with makes the evening feel less like watching a screen and more like being part of the moment.
