Joe Dombrowski

Joe Dombrowski at Spokane Comedy Club

Joe Dombrowski knows the details that make daily life absurd. Marriage. New parenthood. Years spent teaching elementary school. His parents, who somehow manage to be accidentally hilarious. The comedy comes from finding the angle that turns ordinary chaos into material worth sharing. If that kind of observational humor appeals to you, Friday, December 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM gives you a chance to see him live at Spokane Comedy Club.

Dombrowski's viral spelling test prank in 2017 introduced him to a wide audience through The Ellen DeGeneres Show, but that moment followed twenty years of stand-up work. Since then, his comedy has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and Netflix Is a Joke Fest. Variety recently named him one of their Top 10 Comics to Watch. For fans who discovered him online, this is an opportunity to follow that curiosity into a full live set.

Bring your partner, especially if you share the parenting or teaching trenches. A spouse who recognizes the situations Dombrowski describes will catch different moments than you do. Or gather friends who appreciate humor that starts from a place everyone knows, then takes it somewhere unexpected. The Friday timing lets you make a night of it without elaborate planning.
