Beck

Beck at First Interstate Center for the Arts

Beck doesn't stay in one place. Since "Loser" became a 1994 smash, the eight-time GRAMMY winner has moved through alternative rock, folk, funk and electronic music without hesitation. He built a catalog that refuses to repeat itself: Odelay sits beside Sea Change, Colors next to Hyperspace. Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7:30 PM, he brings that range to First Interstate Center for the Arts in Spokane on the Ride Lonesome Tour. Ethereal singer-songwriter Ioanna Gika opens.

His recordings offer decades to explore: the angular hooks of Odelay, the reflective Morning Phase, and the bright pop of Colors. That variety gives longtime listeners several points of connection, without pinning the evening to a predicted setlist. The same artist who has played arenas also brought orchestral performances to Carnegie Hall and Royal Albert Hall. That willingness to reinvent the live experience keeps his shows unpredictable.

Bring someone who appreciates an artist who takes risks. A Beck show rewards curiosity, especially if you want to hear how far modern music can stretch without losing coherence. This Friday plan offers a chance to follow an artist who has been defying expectations for more than thirty years, with no signs of settling into a formula.
