Evan Honer

Evan Honer at Knitting Factory Spokane

Evan Honer writes songs about the things most people avoid committing to: relationships that require staying put, family baggage that never quite unpacks itself, and the strange gratitude of watching strangers sing your words back to you. On Monday, November 9, 2026, at 8:00 PM, he brings that honesty to Knitting Factory Spokane. If you're drawn to songwriters who turn their own messy progress into something you can recognize, this show deserves your attention.

Honer's latest album, Everything I Wanted, was recorded over 18 days in the garage studio he built himself in Nashville. The production carries indie and alternative-pop influences alongside his Americana roots, with string and horn arrangements that give homemade recordings unexpected polish. For listeners who appreciate when a songwriter stretches beyond their early sound, this marks a turning point worth following.

His path from viral cover artist to 500 million streams and sold-out shows started with a Tyler Childers track that earned more than 200 million plays on its own. That momentum hasn't slowed: Honer released his debut album on graduation day, built a record label out of his living room, and played nearly 100 shows in 2024 while writing his next project. Monday's performance offers a chance to see where that relentless forward motion lands when an artist finally learns to slow down and take stock.

Bring the person who understands why a song about refusing to get in your own way hits harder than a simple love ballad. A Monday show gives the start of your week something to look forward to, without requiring a whole weekend plan.
