Blue October

Blue October at Knitting Factory Spokane

Blue October writes from the places most people keep hidden. Struggle, recovery, the work of getting back up after everything falls apart: these are the subjects Justin Furstenfeld turns into music that feels like someone finally said the thing you needed to hear. If you respond to lyrics built from real experience rather than vague feeling, Wednesday, February 24, 2027, at 8:00 PM offers a chance to see that honesty delivered live at Knitting Factory Spokane.

The Houston-born alternative rock band has earned a fiercely loyal global following with over a billion streams and eighteen Top 40 singles, including "Hate Me," "Into the Ocean," and "I Hope You're Happy." Furstenfeld's openness about addiction and sobriety, captured in the documentary Get Back Up, has turned Blue October into more than a favorite band for many listeners. The music becomes a voice for resilience.

A live Blue October performance lets you hear violin, mandolin and piano woven through alternative rock, giving the band's cinematic sound a fuller presence than any recording can deliver. Ryan Delahoussaye's multi-instrumental work adds texture that shifts from anthems to intimate ballads, while the Furstenfeld brothers anchor the rhythm and storytelling.

Bring someone who understands why certain songs matter beyond the melody. A partner, a friend who knows your story, someone working through their own version of getting back up: this Wednesday show becomes a shared experience with meaning, not just entertainment.
