Candlelight: 90s Hip Hop on Strings

Candlelight: 90s Hip Hop on Strings at Falls Penthouse at Riverside Place

The Fugees. Outkast. Missy Elliott. Wu-Tang Clan. These are songs you already know, reimagined in a way you've never heard. A string quartet takes the beats and rhymes that defined a generation and translates them for bows and strings. The result is a concert that asks you to rediscover music you thought you knew by heart. Candlelight: 90s Hip Hop on Strings comes to Falls Penthouse at Riverside Place in Spokane on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 5:30 PM.

The program includes tributes to artists like Lauryn Hill, Nas, Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest, 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G., performed by Spokane string ensemble Listeso. One hour of live music, surrounded by candlelight. The candlelit setting puts a new frame around those familiar melodies.

Bring someone who grew up on these tracks. A friend who can finish the lyrics before you do, a partner who still quotes verses, anyone who remembers where they were the first time they heard these songs. Shared nostalgia makes the evening richer. Doors open forty-five minutes before the concert, and seating is assigned on arrival within your ticket zone.

This Saturday gives you a reason to leave the house for something worth your time. Explore ticket options for Candlelight: 90s Hip Hop on Strings and make space for a night of familiar music in an unfamiliar light.
