Nile & Coroner

Nile & Coroner at Knitting Factory Spokane

Nile doesn't soften death metal for broader appeal. The band layers Egyptian history, Middle Eastern instrumentation and technical brutality into songs that demand your full attention. On Saturday, March 13, 2027, at 6:30 PM, they bring that uncompromising approach to Knitting Factory Spokane, sharing the bill with Coroner. If you want music that refuses to compromise, this is a night to consider.

Karl Sanders built Nile's sound around ancient Egyptian inscriptions, temple carvings and hieroglyphics, translating that research into lyrics and arrangements most bands wouldn't attempt. The result is death metal shaped by a curiosity deeper than shock value. Albums like Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka and Black Seeds of Vengeance earned critical acclaim because they paired ferocity with ambition.

Bring someone who appreciates the craft behind extreme music. Nile's live performances reward listeners who notice the symphonic layers beneath the blasting drums and three-vocalist attack. A Saturday show gives you and a fellow fan something to anticipate together, with two bands on one bill.
