The California Honeydrops

The California Honeydrops at Knitting Factory Spokane

The California Honeydrops don't use a setlist. Every show becomes a conversation between the band and the room, built on improvisation sharp enough that no two nights follow the same path. On Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 8:00 PM, they bring that unpredictable energy to Knitting Factory Spokane. If you prefer live music that feels alive rather than rehearsed, this is the show to circle.

Their retro-soul sound draws on the rhythmic bite of Booker T and the exuberance of Sly and the Family Stone. Horns, keys and a rhythm section support frontman Lech Wierzynski as the group moves through its musical influences. The band began playing in Oakland's subway stations, learning to read a crowd before it had a conventional stage.

Bring the friend who still believes live music should surprise you. The Honeydrops have toured with B.B. King, Dr. John and Bonnie Raitt, playing festivals from Outside Lands to Australia's Byron Bay Bluesfest. They've earned their chops in front of audiences who know the difference between a performance and a moment.

A Saturday night in Spokane with a band this committed to spontaneity gives you a reason to put the phone down and pay attention. Check ticket options for The California Honeydrops and make space for an evening that won't repeat itself.
