Candlelight: 90s Unplugged

Candlelight: 90s Unplugged at Falls Penthouse at Riverside Place

A thousand candles. Warm candlelight surrounds the musicians while a string quartet performs music you probably sang along to in a car somewhere between 1991 and 1999. Candlelight: 90s Unplugged takes Nirvana, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and No Doubt into territory those bands never explored, and the setting makes familiar songs feel like discoveries. On Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 7:30 PM, Falls Penthouse at Riverside Place in Spokane hosts this 60-minute tribute concert performed by Listeso, a local string quartet.

The program includes twelve songs: "Everlong," "Don't Speak," "Zombie," "Wonderwall," "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and seven others you've heard a hundred times in their original forms. Hearing them arranged for strings strips away distortion and drums, leaving melody and emotion bare. A live quartet interprets the music in real time, which gives the performance an edge that recorded classical crossovers lack.

This is a date-night plan for someone who shares your 90s nostalgia, or a way to introduce a younger friend to the decade's soundtrack through a new instrumental arrangement. The candlelight creates a softer atmosphere than most rock venues, making it easier to focus on the arrangement and the musicians' choices. Seats are assigned first-come within your ticket zone, so plan to arrive when doors open 45 minutes before showtime.

Choose Saturday evening over another night scrolling through playlists at home. Live music in candlelight offers a reason to get dressed and show up somewhere that rewards your attention. Check ticket options for Candlelight: 90s Unplugged and give yourself a 60-minute break from the ordinary.
