Candlelight: Christmas Carol on Strings

Candlelight: Christmas Carol on Strings at Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection

A string quartet can make a familiar carol feel new. Candlelight: Christmas Carol on Strings takes traditional holiday music—"Silent Night," "O Holy Night," "Carol of the Bells"—and arranges it for live strings in a candlelit room. On Sunday, December 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM, the Listeso String Quartet performs at Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection in Spokane. The sixty-minute concert offers a different way to experience seasonal music you already know.

Candlelight pairs a candlelit setting with live strings. The format changes how you listen. You notice phrasing, harmony and the space between notes when the room stays quiet and the lighting stays soft. The Davenport's interior becomes part of the experience, making the setting as memorable as the music.

Bring someone who appreciates tradition with a twist. A parent who grew up singing these carols. A partner looking for a December evening centered on live strings. The assigned seating and intimate scale make this an easy plan to share, with plenty of time left in your evening after the music ends.
