Candlelight: The Best of Hans Zimmer

Candlelight: The Best of Hans Zimmer at Falls Penthouse at Riverside Place

Hans Zimmer's scores give movies their emotional weight. A single rising melody can turn a scene into something you remember years later. On Saturday, January 23, 2027, at 5:30 PM, the Listeso String Quartet performs pieces from Inception, Interstellar, The Lion King, Gladiator and more at Falls Penthouse at Riverside Place in Spokane. The room will be lit entirely by candlelight. Live strings and candlelight put the focus on the scores themselves.

The program includes Time, Cornfield Chase, Gladiator Suite, Pirates of the Caribbean Suite and nine other selections spanning Zimmer's film work. A string quartet gives you four voices working together, each melody clearly audible in the intimacy of a candlelit room. You hear the music without the distraction of a theater soundtrack or the pull of a visual story.

Take someone who knows these scores by heart or someone curious about film music. Either way, you share an hour of music that connects to stories you've both seen. The 60-minute performance gives you a focused evening without requiring the entire night. Seating is assigned on arrival within your zone, so plan to arrive early.

A Saturday evening concert offers an alternative to the usual dinner-and-a-movie routine. The candlelit setting makes it worth dressing up for, and the music provides something worth discussing afterward.
