Candlelight: Vivaldi's Four Seasons

Candlelight: Vivaldi's Four Seasons at Falls Penthouse at Riverside Place

Vivaldi's Four Seasons is one of those pieces you've heard so many times it becomes background noise. Hearing it performed live by a string quartet, surrounded by a thousand candles, changes that. The Listeso String Quartet brings Vivaldi's Four Seasons and La Folia to Riverside Place on Saturday, January 9, 2027, at 5:30 PM. The candlelit room shifts the experience from familiar to intimate, giving you a reason to listen as though it's new.

A quartet brings Baroque music to an intimate scale. You hear each phrase more clearly, the drama of the seasons rendered without distraction. Spring's brightness, Winter's sharp cold, Summer's storm: the quartet draws out contrasts the recording smooths over. A live performance lets you follow the conversation between instruments in real time.

Bring someone who enjoys quiet intensity over spectacle. This is assigned seating in an indoor venue, doors open forty-five minutes early, and late entry isn't permitted. Arriving with time to settle in becomes part of the evening. Sixty minutes of live music gives you enough to feel transported without demanding your entire night.
