High Step Society

High Step Society at The District Bar - Spokane

Jazz belongs on the dancefloor. High Step Society proves it every time they play. The Portland band fuses hard-hitting electronic production with live horns and sultry vocals, creating a sound that pulls dancers, burlesque artists and anyone ready to move into the same orbit. On Saturday, December 19, 2026, at 9:00 PM, they bring that fusion to The District Bar in Spokane. If you'd rather spend your weekend moving than sitting still, this is the night to claim.

The band has spent over a decade building a reputation on the US festival circuit, sharing stages with acts from Beats Antique to Thievery Corporation. That range tells you something: High Step Society fits wherever people want to dance. Their approach captures the spirit of the Jazz Age and launches it forward a century, replacing nostalgia with urgency. The result feels celebratory without pretending the past was simpler.

Bring someone who knows the value of dressing up and stepping out. High Step Society invites you to lift your best foot toward the sky and ride the wave together. The collaborative nature of the band means live shows offer variety—singers, instrumentalists and performers cycle through their history. A Saturday night at The District Bar gives you permission to move, dressed however makes you feel best.
