Spokane Symphony: Morihiko Nakahara - Elf In Concert

Spokane Symphony: Morihiko Nakahara - Elf In Concert at Martin Woldson Theatre At The Fox

Elf works because it treats kindness like the most reasonable response to a difficult world. Watching Buddy navigate New York with unshakable optimism reminds us that sincerity can be funny without becoming a punchline. On Saturday, December 19, 2026, at 7:30 PM, the Spokane Symphony performs John Debney's score live at the Martin Woldson Theatre At The Fox while the full film plays on screen. If you've been looking for a reason to gather your family during the holidays, this gives you one.

Hearing the music performed by a live orchestra changes how you experience a film you already know. Debney's score carries the warmth and humor of the story, and when musicians are in the room with you, that becomes part of the evening. Conductor Morihiko Nakahara leads the symphony, connecting what you see on screen to what you hear around you.

Bring your kids, or make it a date with someone who quotes the movie every December. A shared experience like this can become the tradition you look forward to next year.

The holiday season fills up quickly. A Saturday night at the symphony gives you something specific to plan around, rather than letting December slip past in a blur of obligations. Explore tickets for Elf In Concert and put a live orchestral evening on your calendar.
