Beauty and The Beast
Beauty and The Beast at First Interstate Center for the Arts
Some stories never stop working. Beauty and the Beast gave children of the '90s their first unforgettable musical moments, and now a new generation gets to see Belle trade her quiet village for enchantment. On Thursday, January 14, 2027, at 7:00 PM, Disney's first North American tour in over 25 years arrives at First Interstate Center for the Arts in Spokane. If you grew up humming "Be Our Guest" or you have a child who's discovered the songs recently, this is a chance to experience the story together in a theater.
The production reunites members of the original Tony Award-winning artistic team, including composer Alan Menken and lyricist Tim Rice, alongside direction and choreography by Matt West. Spectacular new sets and dazzling costumes give the familiar tale fresh visual energy. Watching live performers bring Mrs. Potts, Lumière and the entire castle to life creates a different kind of wonder than any screen can deliver.
Bring the person who sang along with you the first time, or introduce someone small to their first big theater experience. The run time is two and a half hours with one intermission, giving younger audience members a natural break. Disney recommends the show for ages six and up, making it accessible without dumbing down the artistry. Musical theater fans will appreciate the craft; kids will remember the magic.
Check ticket options for Beauty and the Beast in Spokane and plan an evening that bridges nostalgia and discovery. Some nights out are just for you. This one you get to share.
