Shen Yun Performing Arts at First Interstate Center for the Arts

Classical Chinese dance brings expressive movement and athletic technique to the stage. Shen Yun Performing Arts brings that tradition to First Interstate Center for the Arts on Sunday, April 4, 2027, at 2:00 PM, pairing ethereal movement with explosive athleticism. If watching skilled performers tell stories through choreography appeals to you, this production offers something screens cannot replicate: the sweep of silk costumes, the precision of live music and the energy of dancers filling a stage.

The company presents an entirely new program every season, drawing on ancient legends of valor and virtue. Innovative multimedia effects support the storytelling without overwhelming it. The production runs two hours and fifteen minutes with an intermission, giving you time to absorb one segment before returning for the next. You'll encounter stories reaching back to China's most distant past, staged with the clarity of a modern production.

Take someone who enjoys live performance, whether they follow dance, appreciate orchestral music or simply value artistry. The company requests business attire or evening wear, which turns the outing into an occasion worth dressing for. A Sunday matinee gives you the afternoon to experience something beautiful, then the rest of the day to talk about it. Explore ticket options for Shen Yun and reserve a seat for a performance that educates as much as it entertains.
