The Nutcracker - Symphony Of Lights

The Nutcracker - Symphony Of Lights at Bing Crosby Theater

Tchaikovsky's score is familiar. The choreography is timeless. The Nutcracker: Symphony of Lights takes both and wraps them in illuminated costumes and visual effects designed to turn a classic into something you haven't seen before. On Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the production arrives at Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane. If you've been looking for a way to revisit a holiday tradition without predictability, this staging offers a fresh angle.

The production promises the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets as points of arrival, scenes built around light, color and movement. For audiences who appreciate spectacle alongside performance, those elements give the story a theatrical dimension that extends beyond the dancing. The music remains Tchaikovsky's; the presentation adds Broadway-caliber design.

Bring someone who enjoys the holiday season without needing a traditional frame. A partner who likes live theater, a sibling revisiting childhood favorites, the friend who appreciates visual design as much as performance—each might find something different worth watching. The production works for any age, so this could also be a night that includes family across generations.

A Saturday evening in December gives you a reason to mark the calendar before the month gets away from you. Check ticket options for The Nutcracker: Symphony of Lights at Bing Crosby Theater and make a plan for a night of reimagined tradition in Spokane.
